The collected works are Joseon court paintings documenting events such as the royal archery ceremony and an official meeting of bureaucrats and the royal prince. Paintings depiciting court processions (banchado) will be selected and published separately in another volume of this series.
The collected works are Joseon paintings of court ceremonies depiciting court banques (Jinyeondo and Jinchando) and congratulatory ceremonies offered to kings and crown princes by official (jinhado)
This catalog is the second volume of the three-volume series of Joseon portraits, which we expect to bring out the excellence of Joseon portraits that marked a significant achievement in the history of Korean Painting.
